Felix Verhaeghe, also known as Flou, is the youngest of the den but that doesn’t mean a lack of experience. At age 17 he started organizing drum and bass parties, which resulted in him eventually meeting Mental Forces and Drama.They became close friends and it was only natural he would join Mentality later on.
Now producing under the moniker Flou, he keeps it on a more soulful tip. Influenced by Italian movie scores, bossa nova jazz and 70’s soul music, his dj-sets are full of hidden gems and forgotten classics.
But don’t be fooled. When the night shifts towards the morning light, he might take a different route. Exploring minimal electronics and breakbeats together with him will make you move in the right direction.
